We are pleased to offer for sale on behalf of one of our long-standing customers this well-presented 1966 manual Mustang finished in Wimbledon White with black Shelby stripes.
The only reason she is for sale is the owner has gone to live in the US and did not want to pay £5,000 to ship her out there.
She has had new floor pans along with new seat boxes fitted about two years ago.
In the trunk, all is good with the floor and the drop-off panels.
Both front and rear frame rails are in great shape as are the rear leaf spring hangers.
The interior is new last year. New carpets, new seat covers back and front, new headliner, new door cards, new dash pad, and all new handles.
On the exterior again all is new – new bumpers back and front, new door handles, new emblems all around, new windshield moldings back and front, and new door mirrors finished off with 15″ alloys with almost new tires all around.
Under the hood all is good she is fitted with a 302 engine with 302 badges on the front wing as can be seen in the images.
The 302 is fed by an Edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor giving 30-40 extra BHP new chrome air filter and rocker covers have also been fitted.
The engine is fitted with tubular headers running to high-performance mufflers giving that iconic 60’s V8 rumble.
There are no signs of rust in the engine bay and even around the battery tray.
She is not concourse but a very good usable and well-presented ’66 Mustang anyone would be proud to use and go to any show.
The car is already fully registered with a UK V5C document.
All sensible offers are considered.
