We are pleased to offer for sale a very special Mustang project from Arizona.
She is a 1966 V8 with a manual gearbox with a full Shelby/Eleanor body kit including Shelby front nose, cal induction hood, Shelby side scoops, Shelby whale tail boot lid, and race widened arches all around.
The guy who started this project in the USA has spent thousands of dollars on fabrication and bodywork.
Both back and front wheel arches are fully flared to allow the fitment of wider wheels and tires all round – 225×40 upfront and 245×40 at the rear.
Under the hood, all is good with no rust as would be expected with an Arizona car and the engine has been upgraded to achieve more power. the engine is fitted with electronic ignition and an almost new Edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor with chrome air cleaner there is also a chrome export body brace to help make the shell stiffer.
The engine is connected to a manual box and then to a 9″ rear end.
As we are talking about the underside she is rust-free as far as we can see – the only negative is that someone has jacked the car up on the under-seat support and this has a dent in it.
There are also a new set of shockers all around.
Back to the outside and the headlights as seen in the images and video are angel eye projector style with built-in indicators thus allowing the removal of the factory front indicators to achieve that Shelby race look.
The interior is in very good usable condition finished in blue with blue carpet and blue door cars.
