Here we have one of our convertible projects to build and finish to your style. Currently finished in primer and ready for a little more bodywork before painting.
The front wings look in good all-round condition but are up to the restorer should he or she wish to replace them. The doors are a good factory replacement (good old Ford metal). The rear quarters are in good useable condition.
The boot lid has been replaced with a good used one. She has had the weak spot on any Mustang convertible replaced (the inner sills). The floor however does still need replacement – these are available at about £550.
The soft top needs replacement but we have a new item free with the car. The seats also need recovering.
The engine starts and ticks over but there is a leaky core plug – we would imagine you would remove the engine whilst restoring her
She is a 3-speed manual car with a 3.3 liter 6 cylinder engine. A bargain at £8,995.
We do have a v8 and c4 auto box available by separate negotiations to turn her into a £40,000 convertible when finished.
The car comes fully registered with a UK V5C document.
