1968 V8 Auto Mustang Wimbledon White PROJECT

We are pleased to offer for sale this 1968 V8 auto Ford Mustang finished in Wimbledon White with red velour interior (yes it was retrimmed in the ’70s so most definitely has a Saturday night fever vibe going on.

The exterior paintwork is of a useable condition with no visible rust
the bumper however would benefit from replacement. As we are looking at the exterior, she also would benefit from a set of wiper blades and a new emblem kit.

Back to the interior as said the seats as are the door cards and headliner are velour. All of the aforementioned is in very good condition as is the black carpet. The dash pad is in good condition as is the dash itself.

The car starts on the button literally as the ignition switch has been bypassed and there are two switches under the dash to turn the electrics on and a push-button start but it works and works well.

The engine bay as can be seen is in good overall condition with once again no visible rust to be seen it also appears there are no water or oil leaks.

Opening the trunk or boot lid all looks good and there is a spare wheel which quite often missing as these are no longer made. Original steel wheels are very hard to find as they are no longer made.

Moving outside again the wheels and tires are in great condition the tires looking almost new.

Now to the underside, the front frame rails are good as are the rear frame rails and rear leaf spring hangers however, both front floor pans do need to be repaired or replaced for about £50 on each side.

So there we have it a project that with a little work could be a good usable classic Mustang.

We are offering at a very reasonable asking price.

The car comes fully registered with a UK V5C document.

All sensible offers are considered.

£12,995
