We are pleased to offer for sale this 1965 v8 Auto Ford Mustang Coupe. Finished in the style of early Shelby Mustangs with a Resto-mod slant.
She is finished in Vintage Burgundy with Wimbledon white Shelby striping. All chrome work and exterior bright work is in excellent condition.
Wheels, as can be seen in the photographs, are 17″ five spoke Crager style – these are brand new and have just been fitted.
The grille has been de-badged once again in the style of the early Shelbys. The rear valance is the of the GT style with correct tail pipes and sounds awesome as can be heard in the video.
The interior has been refinished with black trim and black dash pad finished of with a shelby style steering wheel. A period radio is fitted but not wired in – a modern unit is fitted in the glove box.
She starts right up and runs steers and stops as a 65 Mustang should. She has power steering to aid parking. The engine has been upgraded to A code spec with a 4 barrel carb adding an extra 30-40 HP.
This is a classic 65 Mustang with Resto-mod Shelby styling.
