On the 17th April 1964, Ford showcased at the Worlds Fair what was to become their biggest seller since the Model T – the all new Mustang. To become know as the pony car. All cars built up to 17th August were know as 64 and half, as back in the ’60s new models were show cased in Oct/Nov ready for the January release.
We have for sale one of those first generation cars, refinished in bright red with contrasting black interior. Manufactured in early ’65, she is a genuine factory manufactured V8 with 2V carburettor.
Exterior paint is in excellent condition and is complimented with new bumpers and new badging all round. The interior, although not new would appear to have been replaced within the last few years and is in great condition with no rips or tears. Carpets and headliner are also in very good condition.
The wheels are genuine old school “Cragers”. On the move she drives and rides as a 65 mustang should, with that great V8 rumble.
