We are pleased to offer for sale this 1965 Ford Mustang V8 3-speed manual, finished in metallic turquoise with contrasting white interior trim.
She starts right up and runs just fine. There does not appear to be any water or oil leaks (very unusual on a 54-year-old Mustang).
The interior is of a very good usable condition but as would be expected has age related marks. It would appear the interior carpet has been recently replaced, the dash pad is also in a good condition.
She is fitted with a factory radio that works, as do the heater, windshield wipers and turn signals. Under the hood, all is good with no signs of rust on the firewall or the inner wings.
The engine has just had a new alternator fitted as can be seen in the pictures and video. In the trunk, she has had sound deadening pads fitted along with custom trunk carpets.
The underside is in great condition, the floors are sound, as are the rear chassis rails and the trunk drop off panels. These are the three weak spots on all early Mustangs but these are all in good condition.
The exterior is where the work is required on this car. She needs a new trunk lid and bodywork to the passenger’s side rear wheel arch and C-post, small repairs to both doors at the lower front (once again normal on early Mustangs). Then she would require a repaint.
The wheels are chrome styled steel wheels as fitted by the factory back in the 60’s these wear good white band tires. The brakes are standard drums all round.
This would be a great car to have the work completed to get ready for the summer.
The car will come with a full UK V5C (log book) and with a UK registration number.
