So here we have our latest project, a 1968 mustang C8 automatic (J code) finished in pale lime green with a white vinyl roof, black interior, and alloy wheels.
Her bodywork is in very good condition with no visible corrosion to be seen anywhere. The paint is flat in places but could be used as-is or refinished/repainted.
A new vinyl roof has been fitted within the last year. The paint is complimented with a set of multi-hole alloys with good tires all around.
We believe new track rod ends have been fitted and she requires tracking.
The interior is in good useable condition having had a new dash pad fitted. The only repairs required is to the driver seat; once again use as-is or replace the front seat covers.
Outside all glass is in good condition and the front windshield has been replaced just before leaving the US.
The engine bay is in great condition and as can be seen, she is a power steering car and this works just fine. She has had a full serpentine fan belt system fitted with alloy mountings. Also, she fitted with a 4v carburetor from the factory – this gives up to 30-40 more BHP.
Her underside is clean and once again no signs of corrosion on the floor and both back and front frame rails.
So to recap a very light project to use and improve as you drive her.
