We are pleased to offer this vehicle for sale, on behalf of one of our long standing customers. The only reason for her sale is our customer has just purchased a VW camper and needs to fund its restoration.
She is a 1966 V8 auto, factory car finished in Candy Apple red with black interior. The interior is in great condition as can be seen in the pictures and video. She is fitted with both front and rear seat belts as the present owner has two small children.
Being a ’66 she has the five gauge clock set up and all gauges work. There is also a period radio but at the time of writing, this does not work. The carpet is in great condition, as is the headliner and dash pad.
The underside is very good and it would appear to have never been welded. Frame rails are good, as is the trunk drop off panels.
Under the hood, the engine is in very good condition and has been regularly serviced over the years by the current owner. Mileage has been approximately 1,000 miles per year since 2014, this is backed up by all the old MOTs, as seen in the picture of the interior.
The exterior paint and finish are in excellent condition, as is all brightwork. The doors, hood and trunk lid close as in almost new factory condition with no door drop on the hinges.
On the road, she drives very smoothly, steers well and stops great as she has disc brakes on the front. These have had new pads on her last service. The disc brakes sit behind a set of chrome wheels with moon dish hubcaps.
The exhaust has tubular headers. These run into a twin system with cherry bomb mufflers giving that iconic V8 Mustang muscle sound.
She is being priced to sell and would be a great investment and a superb Mustang ready to start the spring/summer show season with.
